I went from a teenage, single mom to the youngest female partner in my corporate insurance agency. I was on top of the world, or so I thought.
Then one day, it all came crashing down.
On October 16, 2015, my partnership ended, my career was over, and I was escorted out of my cushy office and headed home feeling lost.
I had no idea what was next for me, but looking back, I am so thankful for that fateful day. Less than a week later, I emerged from the fog and launched Savvy Girl Media, with a mission to help women become successful entrepreneurs so they do not have to rely upon a "9 to 5" gig to sustain them or their families.
Since then, I've helped thousands of women through speaking, coaching, masterminds, conferences, workshops, and retreats. I've published 7 books, and assisted more than 2 dozen women in becoming first time authors. My sixth book, "The New Rules of the Sisterhood" was featured on ABC's Good Morning Texas.
I am now a mom of 3, and madly in love with my soul-mate and biggest fan, the self-proclaimed "Savvy Husband," a special education teacher (HERO!) who is also an amazing chef.
Oh, and that baby I had as a teenager? She's now a college graduate and the proud mama of my first grandbaby.
